We are honored to welcome Reverend Sanford “Sandy” Sears as our keynote speaker. Father Sandy serves as the chaplain at SeaFarers House at Port Everglades and is a retired United States Coast Guard officer. With a distinguished career that includes service in the U.S. Army, as well as academic accomplishments in history and education, Father Sandy provides spiritual counseling to seafarers and oversees impactful programs such as the Mariner Friendly Congregation initiative and the annual Shoebox Christmas project.​

The Reverend Sanford “Sandy” Sears was ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church in 2001 and comes to Seafarers’ House from Holy Guardian Angels Church in Lantana, Fla., where he serves as vicar.
